Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of using conventional learning media and social media on the learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMK Islam 1 Durenan. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The population in this study consists of all 160 students in the 10th grade, and the sample was taken from two classes with a total of 45 students. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and grade documentation, with data analysis techniques employing multiple linear regression. The t-test results show that conventional learning media have an influence on student learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.029 (< 0.05). Meanwhile, the use of social media does not have a significant influence with a significance value of 0.189 (> 0.05). The simultaneous F-test results yield a significance value of 0.090 (> 0.05), indicating that both variables together do not have a significant influence on learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.118 indicates that only 11.8% of the variation in learning outcomes can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors not examined. It can be concluded that conventional learning media and social media have no significant simultaneous effect on students' learning outcomes
